Job Description
Diverse specialises in multicultural media solutions to help brands reach Australia's diverse community audiences including CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse), Indigenous and LGBTQI+ communities. We develop culturally relevant media campaigns targeting the extensive multicultural and diverse communities across Australia. With over 1 in 4 Australians born overseas, the need to be relevant and culturally specific in our advertising has never been so important.
The CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) media landscape in Australia is huge and the choice of culturally specific publications, radio stations, TV broadcasting channels all now amplified digitally, has never been bigger. Due to growth and new business wins, Diverse are now looking for an Account Executive to serve a critical media role.
Reporting into the National Head of Diverse, you will work with OMG client teams across agencies and offices nationally to execute innovative multicultural media strategies and implementation.
What you'll do:
- Manage external translators and editors to create assets and copy in foreign languages (radio spots, digital assets, video subtitling, etc.)
- Exhibit best in class account management practices and provide implementation support to your team
- Build cooperative working relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and other internal and external parties
- Support creation of client presentations and organise meetings and WIPs with colleagues, clients and partners
- Provide in-depth assessment of all communication options by learning and mastering all media research tools
- Generate media insights using various data sources, data analytics, and craft strategic recommendations
- Provide performance analysis and insights for all channels/tactics within campaign media plans
What you'll need:
- Media and production experience including briefing partners, building media plans, SMD loadings, managing bookings/IOs, trafficking/tagging creative, producing reports/POPs/PCRs, etc.
- A keen interest in marketing and curiosity of the CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse), First Nations and LGBTQI media landscapes is crucial
- Knowledge and use of Asian media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Little RED Book)
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Active, engaged and forward thinking
