About the role

Our Business Managers shift the focus outward, leading client relationships with empathy, curiosity, and bold innovation. Reporting to an Associate or Business Director, the Business Manager owns omni-channel delivery across a portfolio, leading teams and inspiring innovation that sets OMD apart as New Zealand's most forward-thinking media agency.
Skills & Experience
- Passionate collaborator who builds strong relationships and fosters teamwork across all levels.
- Bold and curious mindset that challenges conventions and inspires innovation.
- Deep empathy for clients and consumers, driving purposeful, impactful media solutions.
- Experience in digital media or a related field with a clear commercial focus.
- Clear, confident communicator who simplifies complexity and influences clients and teams.
- Proven leadership skills to train, develop, and motivate teams to deliver market-leading work.
- Strong omni-channel planning and execution knowledge — digital and traditional media expertise.
- Data-fluent with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies that improve consumer experiences.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritise, delegate, and deliver
- Intimate knowledge of OMD Design™, Omni and how it drives client success through empathetic planning.
- High proficiency with digital tools/platforms (Facebook Business Manager, DV360, Google Analytics, Pathmatics, etc.).
- Deep understanding of digital ecosystem tech and evolving measurement techniques.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
