Your Purpose:
The only way to truly understand if our media planning is working is through smart, high-quality measurement that delivers insights far beyond media metrics. That's where we come in.
Our Research team leads the way in delivering actionable insights on media consumption and campaign impact - developing innovative, end-to-end research solutions that elevate planning, brand understanding, and consumer engagement.
As the Research Director, you'll play a key role in our team - leading pitches, managing research projects end-to-end, and supporting meaningful measurement conversations across internal and client teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end research projects, including scoping, pitching, setup, analysis, and delivery - ensuring they're delivered on time, on budget, and to brief.
- Expand and promote the PHD Research footprint across our agency and affiliated groups.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, media partners, and Special Business Units (SBUs).
- Collaborate closely with client teams and directly with clients to support measurement strategy and uncover opportunities for impactful research.
Your expertise:
- At least 8 years' experience working in similar role within media.
- A solid understanding of project design and project management, writing surveys, managing survey panel providers
- Solid understanding of data analysis (SPSS or Q and Excel) and reporting of strategic insights that meet client objectives and provide actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques
- Strong quantitative/numeracy/mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Ability and confidence to build client and internal stakeholder relationships.
