What's the role?
As a Group Media Partnerships Director, you are a critical leader in shaping and executing the national partnerships strategy. You will be responsible for driving strong relationships with media partners, ensuring commercial excellence, and delivering innovative solutions that yield tangible results for our clients.
We are looking for someone to join the team on a 6 month temporary basis, working across 2 large clients within the FMCG and Retail space.
What will you be doing?
- Lead Client Investment Strategy: Develop and oversee strategic media investment plans aligned with client KPIs, driving value through negotiation, performance tracking, and regular reviews.
- Drive Commercial Growth: Identify new business opportunities, optimise pricing strategies, ensure contractual compliance, and contribute to accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Build Strong Client Relationships: Deliver exceptional service and trusted counsel, fostering deep partnerships and proactively addressing client needs and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders and SBUs to deliver integrated, insight-driven solutions and agency-wide alignment.
- Champion Team Leadership: Promote a high-performance, growth-focused culture, providing mentorship and encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Who are you?
- Proven experience in media partnerships and investment, ideally across FMCG and Retail
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and emerging trends
- Proven leadership and team management skills as well as strong relationship building skills
- Exceptional communication and client management skills, ideally at a Senior level.
- Experience driving commercial growth and delivering client success
