Job Description
As a Media Analytics Director, you will play a critical role in connecting data science insights from Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) to actionable recommendations across the client's media and marketing strategies.
This role will lead the ongoing delivery of the results and collaborate with activation, trading, planning and strategy teams to ensure that the modelling outputs are distilled into valuable insight and practical optimisation strategies.
What you'll do:
- Deliver actionable recommendations by analysing insights derived from MMM models, ensuring they are effectively implemented across the client's media and marketing strategies
- Ensure model outputs are actionable by reviewing recommendations and integrating market-specific knowledge
- Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between client and agency teams, ensuring seamless coordination of data procedures and processes
- Work closely with Data Science, Business Intelligence, Insights, and Analytics teams to oversee data flow management, taxonomy, and competitive inputs into modelling
- Lead the reporting and presentation of MMM results including Monthly Updates, Quarterly Reviews, and Annual Reports
- Provide training and ongoing non-technical support for the MMM dashboard, ensuring new teams and employees are well-prepared
What you'll need:
- Strong understanding of MMM methodologies, including the ability to interpret model outputs, assess accuracy and apply insights to media and marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking skills and the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis
- Highly experienced working with Excel/Spreadsheets
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs, particularly for MMM dashboards and related tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment
- Experience in media and marketing industry
