Job Description
The Digital Transformation Director is responsible for establishing the overall direction of the client digital ambition, specifically in the area of data maturity, outside of day-to-day delivery. The core objective is to support the client in navigating the complex world of digital, helping them to maximise the use of their data and technology investment for application across total marketing.
What you'll do:
- Work alongside the client marketing teams to establish a maturity roadmap, that maximises the use of data and technology against the broader business ambition
- Work with the client teams to operationalise the frameworks through media and, when possible, through broader marketing
- Coordinate with internal strategic business units, supporting new technology projects and ensuring that they align to the strategic needs of the business
- Support Business Management and Investment teams in the technical aspects of planning and trading, ensuring that teams have the most up-to-date and best practice information to support day-to-day functions
- Champion the digital product, remaining passionate about digital marketing and encouraging engagement in the digital program
- Contribution to agency POV's, agency forums e.g thought leadership presentations and industry publications
What you'll need:
- Having an intimate knowledge of key stakeholders, stakeholder relationships and the priorities of the business, to help establish a clear path forward
- The ability to adapt language to the broad spectrum of digital is also an essential skill, as the Digital Transformation Director's stakeholders extend from the technically saavy through to stakeholders that are new to digital
- Detailed understanding of digital marketing technology including DSP's, analytics, DMPs and other relevant tools
- Have a thorough understanding of key relationships outside of media contacts, including audience, CRM, technology and loyalty leadership teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple manner, adapting communication styles to suit stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of digital media and related digital channels, with the ability to debate and improve strategic approaches and execution opportunities.
- As a digital leader, engagement in wider agency based programs, including digital and non-digital initiatives
- High performer who excels in client service, media planning and implementation
- You have deep expertise with planning, including tools and strategy
- You have a passion for understanding and delivering on client business goals
