Job Description
As a Group Media Partnerships Director, you are a critical leader in shaping and executing the national partnerships strategy. You will be responsible for driving strong relationships with media partners, ensuring commercial excellence, and delivering innovative solutions that yield tangible results for our clients. You will foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, undertaking a solutions-focused approach to position the agency as the partner most favored by its stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Drive the development and execution of the national partnerships strategy, ensuring
- alignment with emerging market opportunities and trends.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the media landscape, identifying emerging trends and
- opportunities across all channels.
- Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to clients and internal teams through market updates, trade press articles, white papers, and presentations.
- Proactively identify and evaluate innovative investment opportunities that align with client objectives, leading the evolution of the agency's investment product to meet future needs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, respectful strategic relationships with senior media partners across all channels
- Identify and explore new revenue streams through strategic partnerships and product innovation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive commercial growth, while monitoring investment volume and ensuring delivery of contractual commitments.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize client pricing, ensuring maximum value is delivered. This includes the roll out of agency partnership opportunities
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in media partnerships, and investment
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior media partners.
- Excellent negotiation and both verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership, team management and collaboration skills.
- A track record of driving commercial growth and delivering client success
