What's the role?
As the Planning Manager, you will manage the planning process across both offline and online channels for this well known brand. Reporting into the Planning Director, you will create and deliver omni-channel media plans that showcase source and share knowledge with your team and the wider agency.
What will I be doing?
- You'll take an active role in the media strategy development process with an emphasis on demonstrating solid planning skills from brief through to implementation.
- You will create robust omni-channel media plans that build from the core media idea and bring the idea through to life through channel implementation planning
- Demonstrate autonomous management in the implementational planning through to their handover for execution with trading/investment
- Ensure all media goals and strategies are delivered and executed within budgets
- Manage mid-level client relationships and develop relationships with senior clients/media owners. (lead client conversations, confidently present work to client's and manage timelines)
- Manage and mentor the Planning Executive - oversee workflow, QA & coach through career development
Who are you?
- Proven experience in a similar role working across both online and offline channels
- You have strong digital knowledge, especially programmatic channels
- Exceptional attention to detail - checking media plans, formatting on presentations etc
- Strong people management skills with the ability to manage both up and down.
- Ability to work on a fast pace account with numerous different tasks at one time
- Strong client management skills and communication skills
- Proven experience across all planning fundamentals including POV on channel selection and flighting
