Job Description
As an Investment Executive, you are responsible for the media buying and stewardship of the overall media implementation process. You will play an important role in the delivery of our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD's client partners, with transparent trading to the highest standard at the core of this.
You will assist the members of your team in the delivery of market-leading ideas for our clients. You will be taught, via formalised and on-the-job training, to be an expert in the buying of both traditional and key digital media channels. As the first point of contact for our media partners, focus will also be required to ensure OMD maintains strong and valued partnerships in the market.
As Investment Executive you are responsible for the media buying and stewardship of the overall media buying process and will play an important role in the delivery of our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD's clients. You will play a critical role in delivering strong results for our clients across the Investment team and driving the Investment vision.
You will assist the members of your team in the delivery of market leading ideas for our clients. You will be taught to be an expert in traditional media channels.
What you'll do:
- Work across traditional media channels and interact with OMD's Specialist Business Units within the agency to deliver high performance campaigns to clients.
- Management to ensure that all campaigns are monitored for each client, resolving issues and negotiation compensation when required
- Quality controlling of all buys that you work on and oversee.
- Ownership of campaign management including delivery on communication goals and administration relating to the buying process
- Report to campaign delivery and provide ongoing insights that improve campaign performance
- Ensuring all financial commitment to media are effectively monitored and managed for each of your clients and/or campaigns.
- Consistently deliver and document added value, identifying contractual value vs. secured additional value
- Monitor network volume and share tracking, delivering on contractual commitments
What you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience of relevant media buying
- Are someone with high levels of attention to detail and organisation
- You are a strong presenter to both internal and external stakeholders
- Possess a solid understanding of media buying and media trends
- Are a team player who is enthusiastic to continue learning and use their own initiative
- Proactive approach to projects and demonstrates initiative
- Intermediate Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Intermediate to Expert in Citrix tools
- Have a positive attitude and cope well with pressure
