The Performance Director role is an exciting and unique data technology and digital role within the planning team. Sitting above the operations of the account, the PD gets the most out of all available data and technology, bringing new solutions to the account that sit on the cutting edge of media.
- The Performance Director is a data and technology expert responsible for achieving more out of planning
- Responsible for maximising the use of available data and technology to better articulate media outcomes and provide incrementality in results
- Work closely with the Interactive Director to roadmap and bring to life the future of the client's data strategy
- Direct communications and implementation planning direction
- Guide the strategy and insight to ensure a seamless connection through to execution including supporting Create to build frameworks and other solutions, guiding the media tactics for a response
- Champion the digital product, remaining passionate about digital marketing and encourage engagement in the digital program
- Navigate key client relationships or politics of a client business, respecting relationships and understanding stakeholder needs
- Create communication cadences that showcase the business value being delivered from media solutions
- Regular contributions to agency POV's forums, publications and broader digital community forums
About your skills and experience
- Strong understanding of the technical capabilities of media trading platforms, audience platforms, personalisation tools and measurement platforms
- Ability to monitor the market and ensure that opportunities and challenges in the broader technology landscape are forward planned
- You have deep expertise with planning, including tools and strategy
- You have a passion for understanding and delivering on client business goals
- Someone who can build strong client relationships and trust quickly
- Experience in managing direct reports, with a focus on their development.
- A proactive thinker who is always exploring new ways of doing things whilst respecting proven processes
- Up to date with relevant digital certifications across marketing and advertising technology industries
