About the role
This role is part of the OMG Investment and Platforms & Capabilities team. The Platforms & Capabilities Director will be responsible for managing all platforms within activation (programmatic, search & paid social), including internal & 3rd party agencies.
You will use your technical expertise to resolve issues and identify opportunities to support products and process, as part of a national Centre of Excellence (CoE). Your highest priority will be ensuring activation teams can always produce a high-quality product through efficient delivery, and automation of process.
A key aspect of this role is educating the wider activation personnel with product updates, new inventory supply and best practices. You will also play a key role to support the success of publishers, technology platforms and vendor partnerships working with the OMG CoE teams.
Skills & Experience
- In an ideal world, you will have 6+ years of trading desk experience and knowledge within digital, media and advertising agencies or marketing technology business.
- Proven experience working inside a digital agency with large enterprise clients is a must. A keen understanding of how media agencies operate would be to your advantage.
- Solid knowledge of DSPs or Ad Platforms such as DV360, TTD, Adobe, Amazon, Yahoo, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest LinkedIn, Bing and Google Ads is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Side Platforms, Data Management Platforms, Customer Data Platforms and Clean Rooms would be an advantage.
- A relevant university degree would also be an advantage.
